Our internal labs continuously test SYNLawn products for wearability, resiliency and overall workmanship. However, when it comes to understanding true golf performance we knew we had to find an expert.
Partnering with short game guru, physicist, and former NASA scientist, Dave Pelz, we began testing all aspects of SYNLawn artificial putting greens. The first series of testing began with a direct comparison of our synthetic golf grass to natural grass found on professional golf courses. Ball reaction for putting, chipping and approach shots were measured and analyzed by Dave Pelz and the Pelz Golf Institute on both natural and SYNLawn artificial grass surfaces.
Data was collected using precise instrumentation and equipment exclusively designed by the Pelz Golf Institute. All products and installation techniques were thoroughly researched, studied, and measured at SYNLawn’s state-of-the-art test facility at the Pelz Golf Institute in Austin, Texas.
The test facility was designed to study and enhance design characteristics for all SYNLawn Golf products and installation techniques for the most realistic golf experience possible.
